Weeks ago we show the first image and now the production company The Weinstein Company presents us the trailer for «Lawless»(Lawless), a film starring Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, Jason Clarke, Guy Pearce, Gary Oldman, Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska, which puts the loyalty of three brothers to the test in the context of the crime wave most important city in the United States, during the Great Depression of the 20s.
It is the story of the Bondurant brothers (LaBeouf, Hardy, Clarke), infamous smugglers who take the law into their own hands, in Prohibition in Virginia, as they try to achieve the American dream. It is inspired by real-life tales from author Matt Bondurant's family, published in his novel "The Wettest County In The World."
The film was directed by John Hillcoat ("The Road") and will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival next May. In theaters, it will make its appearance on August 31 in the US, with no confirmed dates in Spanish-speaking countries at the moment.
