What do artists like Nirvana, Argentine Charly García and Eric Clapton have in common? Everyone, at some point, recorded an acoustic album for the American music chain MTV.

Now, the Mexican Julieta Venegas will be added to that long list. In March, the live recording of the first concert that the chain will do on Mexican soil will take place.

When asked about this new challenge, the interpreter of "You are for me" said: "It is a challenge for me to re-read my entire career from the perspective of an unplugged concert."

Other artists who recorded the MTV Unplugged series are Ricky Martin, Bon Jovi, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Bjork, The Cors and Maná.
