One of the most serene and talented voices in Uruguay this week was added to the list of artists who remember the life of the Argentine singer Mercedes Sosa.

In the midst of numerous tributes that occur throughout Latin America, Drexler showed his regret from Madrid with a poem written for the occasion. The verses are titled Tenths for Mercedes, and is a wink for all who enjoyed the interpreter, since the words of the poem refer to Sleep Negrito, one of the most popular songs that Sosa performed.

«Sleep, sleep, Negrita, / that your voice is in the country, / in the city, on the edge / rolling of that stream, / on the pillow on which I rest / my head awake, / in my glass, in the enramada / and in the car radios./ Your voice is kept at night / very, very well guarded », says the beautiful writing.

The love and Drexler's admiration for La Negra Sosa comes from years ago, and in Singer, Argentina's last album, the oriental singer-songwriter was able to give himself the pleasure of sharing his voice with that of the artist, on the theme Sea.
