The British duo Hurts They continue with the promotion prior to the premiere of their third album, 'Surrender', which will be released on October 9. Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson have just released the video clip of the third advance of their new album, 'Lights', a song that they revealed in the middle of last month and of which I already commented that, although it sounds really luxurious, it seems more like a Scissor Sisters song than Hurts.
Personal reviews aside, this new Hurts video clip comes with the clear intention of not going unnoticed. With seven minutes in length, 'Lights', directed by Dawn Shadforth, known for his work with Björk, Goldfrapp or Flrence + The Machine, shows us Theo Hutchcraft in a club, dressed as a bullfighter -no kidding- and in very bad condition, worried only about dancing with his companion, with whom he does not hesitate to distribute blows left and right to end up dancing again, this time soaked in blood. The music video for 'Lights' has a strange charm, all the product of the mixture of the images of that dance to the 'West Side Story' with the final twist to the 'Smack My Bitch Up' of The Prodigy -for the explicitness of the images-.
