Gus Van Sant, one of the masters of cinema still active, returns to the fray with a new film, «Promised Land«.
Four years after "My name is Harvey Milk", the last film with which he succeeded, he intends to re-cast one of his films among the nominees for one of the statuettes of the Hollywood Academy Awards.
Between one film and another he left us «Restless«, Which despite being interesting ended up being a failure at the box office.
In "Promised Land" he once again features Matt Damon as he did in films such as "The Indomitable Will Haunting", and as in that film the actor also collaborates on the script, but in this case instead of working with Ben Affleck he does it with his co-star John Krasinski.
