Flaming Lips previews their new 'Peace Sword' by streaming

Flaming Lips Peace Sword

For those who still do not know, The Flaming Lips They are almost an institution in the world of American alternative rock. They are a band that has served as inspiration for numerous indie and neo-psychedelic groups, such as Tame Impala, Animal Collective or MGMT among others, for three decades. The Flaming Lips are back in the news this week with the imminent release of their new EP, 'Peace Sword', which is now available to stream via streaming.

Warner Bros. Records will release this new EP of the Flaming lips next October 29 in digital format. It will also be presented as a limited edition 12 ″ vinyl, and will be released on CD for Record Store Day Black Friday, to be held on November 29.

As the band from Oklahoma (USA) announced, it decided to advance its broadcast this week, launching via streaming the song that gives the EP title, Peace Sword (Open Your Heart), which was specially composed for the soundtrack of the film version of the science fiction novel 'Ender's Game' (Ender's Game, 1985) by writer Orson Scott Card. The rest of the five songs on the new EP were also inspired by Scott Card's novel and apparently the end result has been excellent.
