Five reasons why Avatar will not sweep the box office

This weekend the question of whether the long-awaited new film of the Director James Cameron (Titanic, Terminator II) will be able to sweep the box office to amortize the almost 500 million dollars that it is rumored to have cost to make the Avatar movie.

Honestly, it is very difficult for several reasons:

1st. Because it is not a sequel to a hit movie. So, in this way, it does not drag millions of already safe followers.

2nd. It is not an adaptation of a Best Seller: it does not have guaranteed fans either.

3rd. From the trailer, we can guess that it is a film aimed at teenagers and men up to 35 years old. With which, your target is reduced and it is difficult for you to raise so much money like this.

4th. Because, honestly, those of us who are moviegoers have been reading wonders of this movie for years, however, 95% of the population did not even know it existed.

5th. Although CGI is the milk, I keep saying that it still looks like a next-gen video game.

Anyway, these two weeks will tell us if I'm right or not. Anyway, I also tell you that Avatar will be the first movie I'll see in 3D to see if everything they say about it is true.

Note: For the movie Avatar to be a success it must gross over $ 600 worldwide. Less than that is a failure.
