«Famous»: Charli XCX and her new video clip parody

Charli XCX premiered his new video for the single «Famous«, A parody of viral videos. The clip was directed by Eric Wareheim, known for his work on the comedy Tim & Eric. Wareheim has also done clips for bands like MGMT, Maroon 5, Major Lazer and Depeche Mode.

«Famous» is included in their latest album 'Sucker', which was released on January 26 through Asylum Records and of which we had seen the video clip of “Breaking Up". Her real name is Charlotte Aitchison and she was born on August 2, 1992 in Hertfordshire, Great Britain. She started her own band in her backyard when she was around eight years old, at Howe Green House School, in the British town of Essex. At the age of 6, Charli began recording her debut album, financed by her parents, which was never released commercially.

Charli XCX released two singles in 2008, "Emelline" / "Art Bitch" and "Franchesckaar!" and then signed with This Is Music and IAMSOUND Records before releasing three more singles. He released two EPs in late 2011, while completing his debut album, 'True Romance', released in April 2013 by Asylum Records and Atlantic Records.
