It is the 19 work of his career and they participate among others JJ Cale, Sheryl Crow, Allen Toussaint, Wynton Marsalis, Steve Winwood and Jim Keltner.
'Clapton' will have 14 songs, although there are only two new ones, the remaining 12 are versions of unknown country blues, standards, brass bands and traditional ones from the last century.
«This album is not what we originally thought. In fact, it's better, because I just let things happen. It's an eclectic collection of songs that weren't on the map and I really like it because, if it's a surprise to the fans, it's only because it's a surprise to me too.«Commented.
