We are less than two weeks away from the British Duran Duran release their 14th LP, 'Paper Gods'. After the band surprised their fans earlier this summer with the collaboration of Janelle Monáe and Nile Rodgers for the first single revealing, 'Pressure Off', showing what the intentions were going to be for this new album, then they were arriving 'Paper Gods' -with the collaboration of Mr. Hudson-, 'You Kill Me With Silence' and 'What Are The Chances', not in the dance style of the first one but maintaining electronic bases and an impeccable production, worthy of a band like Duran Duran.
Now, saying goodbye to the summer, Duran Duran takes to the dance floors again, this time accompanied by the -great- voice of Canadian Kiesza, for the fifth preview of 'Paper Gods': 'Last Night In The City'. Kiesza revealed that the idea for this collaboration came from Simon Le Bon himself. It's all to blame for the success of Kiesza 'Hideaway'; Simon Le Bon was in the gym when the video clip for 'Hideaway' appeared on the television screen. Raise your hand who has listened to Kiesza's 'Hideaway' and has not been totally hooked. I don't see hands.
Two tremendous voices like those of Simon Le Bon and Kiesza added to some electronic bases with catchy melodies and a summer that still insists on giving its last blows, they give as a result 'Last Night In The City', the freshest single -for now- from 'Paper Gods'. Remember that the release date of 'Paper Gods' is scheduled for next September 11. Its launch will be worldwide.
