Disney closes studios for Robert Zemeckis' Digital Image Movers

"Bob and the IMD (Image Movers Digital) team was successfully built in a state of the art studios and produced an amazing film, 'A Christmas Carol', at a time when the dynamics of this industry are changing rapidly", said Alan Bergman, President of The Walt Disney Studios. "But given today's economic realities, we have to find alternative ways for creative content targeted at audiences, and IDM no longer fits our business model."
