Daniel Radcliffe takes on the Yakuza

Daniel Radcliffe

Surely many of the fans of British actor Daniel Radcliffe will be wondering what he does. Before ending his role as Harry Potter, he could be seen on the stages of various theaters, with a controversial play where he appeared naked and with a horse.

Many people thought that, like many other actors in great film or television sagas, Radcliffe would be pigeonholed in the role of Potter, but Potter has done everything possible to prevent this from being the case.

Now he returns to the world of celluloid to star in a movie called Tokyo Vice, a thriller that is set in the underworld of Japan. He also does it from the hand of a novice director, Anthony Maller, who has extensive experience as a director of commercials and music videos.

This film is based on a book entitled Tokyo Vice: An american reports on the Police beat in Japan, written by the American journalist Jake Adelstein, who spent more than 12 years following the criminal career of Tadamasa Goto, who was head of the Yakuza and that he was known as the Japanese John Gotti.
