Recall that Crystal Castles is a Canadian electronic and experimental music duo formed in 2004 by producer Ethan Kath and singer Alice Glass.
In 2008 their self-titled debut was released, which NME magazine ranked them No. 39 in the "Top 50 Greatest Albums of the Decade." The band's second album, also titled Crystal Castles, but known as "Crystal Castles II," was released on May 24, 2010. The album was produced by Ethan Kath at various locations, including a church in Iceland, a cabin built themselves in northern Ontario, and an abandoned convenience store garage in Detroit, Michigan.
