Veteran actor Jeff Bridges' new film smacks of a possible Best Actor Oscar.
The film in question is titled Crazy hearts and places us in the life of a veteran country singer (J. Bridges) who so many years of touring, sex and alcohol are taking their toll. In addition, a journalist follows him in his last concerts to make a report about the real man behind the musician.
Crazy hearts It is based on the novel by Thomas Cobb that has been scripted by first-time director Scott Cooper himself.
In the cast, apart from Jeff Bridges, stand out Maggie Gyllenhaal, Colin Farrell and Robert Duvall, among others.
This film will be released in the USA on December 16 and, yet, it does not have a release date in our country.
