After three years without releasing a film, Clint Eastwood returns with his new tape, this time with a musical cut, «Jersey Boys«.
Three years have passed since one of the most prolific directors of recent times, who released an average of film per year, premiered his latest work «J. Edgar », now comes back with charged batteries with a new job that is sure to give a lot to talk about.
Set in the 60s and based on the famous Broadway musical, "Jersey Boys" tells the story of Frankie Valli which had very prominent successes with his band Four Seasons with songs like "Big Girls Don't Cry", "Grease" or "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" and who was related to the mafia, something that ended up taking its toll.
The practically unknown john lloyd young gives life to Frank Valli, and the no better known Erich bergen, Vincent Piazza y michael lomenda to the rest of the band. The faces of Christopher Walken and the daughter of the director himself, Francesca Eastwood, are the most recognizable of this film that will be released in the United States next June and will not arrive in Spain until September.
After this film it seems that Clint Eastwood will return to direct almost obsessively since he is already preparing for 2015 the film «American Sniper»Starring Bradley Cooper.
