Ya we told you a few weeks ago how exceptional and magnificent the cast is for Cesc Gay's new film, 'A pistol in each hand', in which the filmmaker managed to bring together: Javier Cámara, Ricardo Darín, Eduard Fernández, Cayetana Guillén Cuervo, Jordi Mollá, Eduardo Noriega, Candela Peña, Alberto San Juan, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Clara Segura, Luis Tosar and Leonor Watling.

Undoubtedly a whole cast for this choral film that radiographs the sentimental life of some men ... and some women, and that according to the author of films like 'En la ciudad' or 'Ficción', is about an acid and ironic sentimental comedy, full of characters, with their lives, problems and joys and parallel encounters, but that, in the end, they coincide.

The film 'A pistol in each hand', which premiered in Spain from the hand of Filmax on December 5 and it is produced by Marta Esteban for Imposible Films, it already had a cast that offered high-level guarantees beforehand, and it has not disappointed, since it is discovered before the eyes of the spectator as a sarcastic comedy that affects the description of the current scene.

En 'A gun in each hand', J. (Leonardo Sabaraglia) he's depressed despite having everything and he's psychoanalyst's meat. On the other hand, E. (Eduard Fernández) has nothing but sleeps like a baby despite having returned to his mother's house with his cat. S. (Javier Cámara) approaches his ex-wife Elena (Clara Segura) in an attempt to get back with her two years later. G. (Ricardo Darín) seeks, with the help of anxiolytics, to understand why his wife is having an affair. P. (Eduardo Noriega) tries to seduce his partner Mamen (Candela Peña). Maria and Sara (Leonor Watling - Cayetana Guillén Cuervo) exchange their husbands (Jordi Mollà - Alberto San Juan) in an attempt to make each discover the intimacies of the other. L. (Luis Tosar) calls his lover by the name of his dog.

In short, a sad social X-ray that reflects the indignation of its protagonists, the defeat that many feel, the confidences around love, heartbreak, deceptions, reconciliations ... An excellent radiography of psychologies and behaviors, in a setting where they speak plainly about "important things" while they wait for them and draw up a complicated plan that plays to let themselves be seduced.

The movie that is easily seen has the satisfaction generated by the different interpretive duels we attendas the acting cast does a great job. It is a pity that the pistol does not finish firing and the argument of 'A pistol in each hand' leaves us with that, with a very well loaded pistol, but without actually firing it.
