Britney Spears has announced the release of his new single, «Perfume«, Which will also have its corresponding video clip, of which the singer showed a photo, as we see. The theme will be included in his next studio album -the eighth of his career- which will be called 'Britney Jean'and will be out in December. "Perfume" will be the second single from this album, after "Work Bitch", which reached number 7 in the British ranking and 12 in the US.
Britney Jean'includes collaborations from will.i.am, TI, and her younger sister, Jamie Lynn, who appears on the song "Chillin' With You." The work will be released on December 2 and the vocalist will give her first promotional show on December 27 in Las Vegas. As part of the promotion, on October 25, 2013, Britney Spears published on all her social networks, a letter written personally by her, dedicated to her fans and thus giving them details about the production and theme of the album. The letter read the following:
Dear Fans. I haven't sat down to write to you in a while. For some time! We've gotten used to making our thoughts known in just 140 characters, but sometimes it's nice to take the time to sit down and write something a little longer and more personal. I'm putting the finishing touches on my new album "Britney Jean" in the next few days and I'm really excited for you to hear it. I have poured my heart and soul into this album and it has been an incredible journey.
