Bad news for fans of Birch that they were waiting for some of the upcoming dates of their 'Vulnicura' tour. The Icelandic representatives have published a statement in which, without giving any explanation, they only announce that they will work on rescheduling these canceled dates. This is the content of the statement: “Due to a scheduling conflict beyond our control, Björk will not be able to continue the summer and fall tour as planned. Björk has really been looking forward to these concerts and we will work on rescheduling the canceled dates as soon as possible ».
Among the canceled dates are three major festivals: the Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris, La Route du Rock in Saint-Malo and two dates at the Iceland Airwaves in his hometown. Of these three festivals, the most affected has been La Route du Rock, since this announcement has reached one week before the scheduled date for Björk's concert. This is how the festival organizers warned of this cancellation from their website: “Despite our numerous calls and messages, we have not received any justification for this cancellation. We have no choice but to accept this inexplicable news just one week before the event. We are doing our best to announce which artist will replace the Icelandic diva ».
