The novel "La Reina del Sur" by Arturo Pérez Reverte will have its film version hollywood, which will be directed by Venezuelan Jonathan Jakubowicz ("Kidnapping Express"). And for the main role there are three candidates: none other than Eva Mendes, Jennifer López and Penélope Cruz.

The novel published in 2002 is about a Mexican, Teresa Mendoza, who flees from Mexico to Spain, where she becomes involved in smuggling and drug trafficking networks. The novel is narrated in the third person through a journalist who investigates the life of the protagonist.

And while there are no clues or data on the beginning of the shooting, the most likely thing is that from these three figures the one who gives life to Teresa comes out. And by train to choose, I stay with J.LO (photo): she plays the role of Mexican well (despite having Puerto Rican descent), speaks in Spanish and at first glance she is the most bitch of the three to play the character.
