Ashes from Heaven, trailer for a Spanish environmental production that premieres this Friday

This Friday the Spanish film opens Ashes from heaven Directed by José Antonio Quirós and which includes Celso Buggallo, Clara Segura and Beatriz Rico, among others.

The film had a budget of 1,75 million euros and was awarded the Grand Prix at the last Tokyo International Film Festival 2008.

The Synopsis of Ashes of Heaven is:

Ferguson (Gary Piquer), an adventurous Scottish guide writer, visits northern Spain to complete his latest post. The motorhome he drives leaves him stranded not exactly on the edge of a beautiful beach but under the chimneys of a thermal power plant. He is forced to stay there, and discovers a new world, an "impossible place" where he is going to start a peculiar friendship with Federico (Celso Bugallo), a country man who believes that the Kyoto commitment will close the thermal that pollutes Valley. Little by little, Ferguson will be immersed in the commitment to support Federico in his fight against the thermal power plant.
