Aparecidos tells the story of Malena (Ruth Díaz) and Pablo (Javier Pereira), two brothers who travel through Argentina, discover one night a newspaper that recounts crimes committed twenty years ago. That night, the past and the present are confused. A family is persecuted, tortured and exterminated, following step by step the events described in the newspaper before the helpless gaze of the brothers. From that moment, the brothers' journey turns into a nightmare, where they do not know if the people they are trying to save are real or are simply the reflection of something that happened 20 years ago.
