The Malaga actor will once again put his voice to an animated film, this time it is about a Spanish 3D tape from the Granada company Kandor Graphics.
Antonio Banderas had his first foray into the world of animation in the film "Shrek 2" and since then he has participated in all the installments of the saga, giving voice to the character of «puss in boots». After the third and fourth installments, which took place in 2007 and 2010, the character had his own Spin-off called "Puss in Boots" in 2011.
Banderas has explained the difficulty that the great change of register that he has had to make for his character in reference to that of "Puss in Boots" has caused him. The actor explained that his previous character was a tiny being to whom he gave a great voice and that this time it is the opposite, the character is big and strong and gives it a tiny voice.
The film will be directed by Manuel Sicília, who debuted in the feature film together with Raúl García with the film, also in 3D, "The lost lynx", winner of the Goya for best animated film 2008 the year.
Both Manuel Sicília, founder and creative director, and Antonio Banderas himself, who In addition to giving voice to the film, he is also a producer, are fully confident that Kandhor Graphics is at its best after having won more than 70 awards, including 2 Goya Awards, and even having had an Oscar-nominated short film, "Lady and Death."
The Malaga actor says he is, for his part, very proud of the 10 years it has been collaborating with the Granada company and that it employs more than 130 people.
Regarding "Justin and the sword of courage", we will still have to wait a while to see it on the bill, as it will not reach theaters until Summer 2013.
