"Alice in Wonderland", breaks record of collection in 3D theaters

Last weekend the Spanish box office once again obtained excellent collection data thanks to the premiere of the American film "Alice in Wonderland" by Tim Burton, which has achieved incredible figures, achieving the record of collection in a weekend in 3D rooms (5,16 million euros) and a total collection of 7,61 million euros.

In the first four positions there are three films that have been released in 3D, which indicates the good moment that this type of mass consumption cinema is enjoying. The one who was the box office leader goes down to second place, "Wrath of the Titans", adding € 900.000 for a total of € 10,65 million while "How to Train Your Dragon" it drops to fourth place and has already raised 7,85 million euros.

Jennifer Aniston's comedy "Exposados" remains in third place with € 750.000 in revenue.

Finally, it should be noted that only one other premiere has managed to enter the Top Ten at the box office, the French production "From Paris with love" with € 650.000.

This weekend the film with the most commercial projection will be the Spanish comedy «Que se mueran los ugly», with Javier Cámara and Carmen Machi.
