In a few days, the filmmaker Alan Taylor will begin with the tests and casting to be able to find the protagonists of his second film, the terminator remake, a film that he will direct for Paramount Pictures, Annapurna Pictures and Skydance Productions.
At the moment there is only one confirmed actor and it is nothing more and nothing less than Arnold Schwarzenegger. Other names that have come to the fore for this production are Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Brie Larson, who will be the first to meet with the director to see if they can get the role of Sarah Connor. Another possible option for this role is Margot Robbie.
For the role of Kyle Reese, other names have already come to light, although nothing is confirmed at the moment. The first is Garret Hedlund (Tron: Legacy) and Boyd Holbrook (The Host)
Alan Taylor wants Tom Hardy for the role of John Connor, although at the moment it is said that there has been no contact between both parties. Why Hardy? It is not known for sure but it is speculated that the film will alternate between two plot times, the present and the post-apocalyptic future.
