On the 8th of this month of May, the Bob Marley's 'Legend' 30th Anniversary, the album that with more than 27 million copies worldwide became the best-selling reggae album of all time. To celebrate this anniversary, the Universal Music record label has decided to launch on July 1 a special edition of this legendary album under the name 'Legend - 30th Anniversary Edition'.
The special reissue will be presented in a pack in CD and Blu-ray Pure Audio Disc format that, in addition to the original Legend recording in digital stereo, will also include the same versions in 5.1 audio format, a recording specially made by the consecrated producer. Bob clearmountain in Pure Audio (bluray) quality. The pack will contain the original studio version of No Woman No Cry, instead of the previous version recorded live.
Also the anniversary pack contains two alternative mixes of Easy Skanking and Punky Reggae Party, as well as the classics Get Up Stand Up, One Love / People Get Ready, I Shot The Sheriff, Exodus, Is This Love and Jamming. The special production includes a 28-page booklet with extended notes, unpublished photos, comments from figures such as Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder and the author of the book Marley, Christopher Farley. The 'Legend - 30th Anniversary Edition' will also be available in tri-color double vinyl (yellow, green and red).
