«The Grand Budapest Hotel» con 11 nominaciones, «Birdman» y «The Theory of Everything» con 10 y «The Imitation Game» con 9, son las grandes favoritas a la nueva edición de los Premios Bafta.
Todas ellas luchan por hacerse con el Bafta a la mejor película al igual que «Boyhood» que solo consigue cinco candidaturas.
«The Theory of Everything» y «The Imitation Game», esta última, la única de las cinco que no opta al premio a la mejor dirección, también reciben la nominación a mejor película británica, apartado que se completa con «’71«, «Paddington«, «Pride» y «Under the Skin«.
