Ziggy Marley: music for the little ones

Ziggy Marley

In recent weeks, children's tunes have kept this artist busy with both his music and that of his missed father.
Ziggy Marley is about to launch (this next May 5) a disc titled Family Music, which will include original songs, covers and the collaboration of other luminaries such as Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, Jack Johnson y Toots Hibbert, his mother's Rita marley, his sister Cedella Marley and the participation of the actress Jamie Lee Curtis in two spoken songs.

The money obtained from the sales of the same will be donated to Chepstowe Basic School, study center located in Jamaica.
This will be followed by the release -in June- of a 'set' of songs by Bob Marley, revised and remastered, also aimed at a child audience.

"I never thought of making music for boys before…. I kind of ended up realizing that this inclination came about because I think it's them that we have to talk to today. They have a much cleaner and more open mind. Then they will grow and depending on how we direct them, they will make this world a better place to live ... so it is on them that we have to focus."He explained Ziggy.

"So that's what this album is about. Actually, it is about the beginning of the discussion between young and old to make the future a better place in which we all live ... but we must not forget that this discussion must begin in our own homes."He added.
