On June 18, the successful American rapper Kanye West releases his new album, entitled 'Yeezus', a play on words between his nickname 'Yeezy' and Jesus Christ. 'Yeezus' represents the sixth studio work of the versatile singer, almost entirely recorded at West's Loft studios in Paris. It will be released by Roc-A-Fella Records, with distribution from Def Jam Recordings. 'Yeezus' will feature a total of ten songs and featured the collaboration of stars like Daft Punk, Hudson Mohawke, Mike Dean, Travis Scott, Chief Keef and singer Justin Vernon.
Various themes of 'Yeezus' were presented a few days ago at the Governors Ball gala and during this stay in New York, the singer took the opportunity to hold a special party (listening party) to present the new album to the press and his closest friends. This special evening took place last Tuesday (11) at the Milk Studios gallery in the Chelsea neighborhood (Manhattan), and figures such as Jay Z, Beyoncé, Dj Khaled, Busta Rhymes and Timbaland, among others, were invited. During the evening West gave details of the production work of 'Yeezus' and commented on the creative development of each of the songs.
