World rock mourning: Lemmy Kilmister passes away.

Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, bassist and frontman of Motörhead, passed away this Monday in Los Angeles, cancer victim that I had been suffering from. Lemmy had just turned 70.

His lifestyle has not been highly recommended to anyone. He himself recognized it in his autobiography entitled "I do not recommend my lifestyle to anyone." A life full of drug and narcotic consumption, alcohol and concerts, rock and toxic substances of all kinds. In 1980 he had a complete blood transfusion to detoxify his body.

The irony has wanted a character given to sarcasm and rebellion to have died on the day of the Holy Innocents, December 28. In precisely one year, this 2015 that is about to end, in which Motörhead has celebrated its 40th anniversary on stage with the release of "Bad Magic", his twenty-second studio album. The thousands of followers that the band has in Spain awaited their 2016 tour, with performances during the month of February in Barcelona and Madrid.

If we review his career, we find Lemmy being born at Christmas 1945. He lived with his single mother, and only met his father when he was of age, and was already part of some rock bands of those 60s.

In the 70s to the 80s Lemmy founded Motörhead. In the same 1980 it was released on the market "Ace of Spades", and becomes the album with the highest number of sales in the history of the band.

In Spain we were able to enjoy Motörhead's live music in July last year, as headliners at the Resurrection Fest festival. Recently, one of the songs from the last album has presented its video clip, “When The Sky Comes Looking For You”, shot entirely in Mallorca. Lemmy is considered a pioneer in a new way of playing bass in the rock world.
