Slayer, those veterans of the 'thrash metal'that have survived almost 3 decades since they formed in a county of California, have announced the release date of their new album, World Painted Blood: at the end of this summer.
"I believed, and I'm sure everyone else did, that if it took another 5 years to get a record out, this would probably be the last. It would have been 2 albums in 10 years ... I don't think anyone would have wanted to wait that long.
It is not that we had not had ideas ... we have been on tour, we have released some DVDs, box-sets, and we have been busy with other things."Commented the guitarist Kerry king.
Doing World Painted Blood has meant the first time the band created material in study, instead of reaching him with the songs already prepared, something that made him King he will be somewhat skeptical at first ...
"I had my doubts at the beginning, but the truth is that each song came out very well. I was worried that some would sound similar, and that didn't happen. When you listen to it you will realize it ... you will love it"He added.
