A former Warner Bros employee has claimed that the film "Wonder Woman" is yet another disaster in the history of the production company.
Remember that the film directed by Patty Jenkins will mean the first solo project of the DC heroine played by Gal Gadot.
As we have been seeing, the first steps of the so-called "Multiverse" DC kinematics are not being easy. The first productions, "The Man of Steel", "Batman and Superman: Dawn of Justice", were not well received by critics and audiences.
Now showing in theaters, "Suicide Squad" is also mired in controversy. With "Wonder Woman" there were many hopes, and more after seeing its first trailer. The statements of this former studio employee have returned the ghosts to the Warner projects.
This former employee is using the pseudonym Gracie Law, a character in "Little China Heist," to justify by letters the bad decisions of Warner Bros in recent years. In his words: «Don't try to hide it with a big trailer. The people inside have already confirmed that it is another disaster. It's amazing how you keep rewarding producers for making the same mistakes over and over again«.
These letters are beginning to worry Warner Bros. executives, who are aware of the damage all this could do to their studio's reputation, and to expectations for its next big release. For these and other reasons, the director of the movie Patty Jenkins was the first to react via Twitter: 'I just read that letter about Wonder Woman's problems. I mean it? I believe that someone is dedicating themselves to inventing things«.
The truth is "Suicide Squad »is having an immense reception at the box office. The premiere of "Wonder Woman" is scheduled for June 2017.
