Who will direct GI Joe?

Well it seems the rumor goes from one place to another, as I read in The Lost Hours, Stephen sommers, director of inconsequential titles that may fall into the category of popcorn makers as The Mummy with its vile sequel or Van Helsing, could be in charge of directing the film of G.I. Joe, under the script of Skip woods, to which the script (??) of Operation Swordfish. But later I read in Your film blog that from what was said nothing, that Sommers asked for an egg of money (which is not a saint of what but hey) and that now the one who can direct the film is Len wiseman (You know Underworld and its sequel or The Jungle 4.0)

All the appropriate wickers to make an authentic American pamphlet worthy of George Bush himself (father or son, you decide). Or what is the same, a movie trash where the US military is praised above the rest of the poor mortals. In the title role they want Mark Wahlberg, to whom after a few good roles in Departed, where I think he was even nominated for an Oscar, and Shooter, I would not recommend embarking on a project of such depth. Unless you want to become Marky Mark again of course.
