A few months ago we told you the Wesley Snipes case, in which he was accused of three cases of tax evasion, not already counting those who have been acquitted. Well, the judge has already spoken and sentenced last Thursday to actor a three years in prison.
"The sentence of a lengthy sentence for Snipes should send the message loud and clear to all tax evaders that if they engage in these behaviors they will face meeting him (...) in prison"
Nathan Hochman, Judge
For their part, the actor's lawyers asked the federal judge, William Terrell Hodges, to be allowed to stay in a prison not far from his home in New Jersey, the judge simply replied that he would consider the request.
