Ben moody, co-founder of Evanescence next to the singer Amy Lee (left the group in the 2003), has said that his new grouping, We Are The Fallen, will not be in continuous dispute with his old group but both bands will coexist peacefully and will continue separate paths.
We Are The Fallen was formed earlier this year and has among its ranks the original members of Evanescence, John LeCompte on the guitar and Rocky gray commanding the battery. The formation is completed by the bass player Marty O'Brien and the singer Carly smithson, finalist of the seventh season of American Idol.
"Evanescence no longer really exists. It's Amy Lee playing under that name with a group of fans hired to fill our rightful place.
She is amazing, a very good performer and songwriter. There is no reason that we both shouldn't exist in this world. Musically we are going in different directions ... The Open Door, Evanescense's 2006 album, is nothing like what We Are The Fallen has been doing."He commented.
