Vomiting shower for Lady Gaga at her SXSW concert

Lady Gaga SXSW 2014

Lady Gaga is once again the center of controversy and debate about her concept of art after starring in an unpleasant episode during a concert at the South by Southwest Festival (SXSW) in the city of Austin, Texas (USA) in which the singer let an artist will vomit on him in the middle of the show. The episode undoubtedly became one of the most repulsive and viral of last Thursday (13) and without a doubt of his musical career, which occurred during the interpretation of 'Swine', one of his most recent songs, while beating the drums .

The scene occurs when the artist of the number walks around with a bottle in hand and occasionally drinks from it until, at one point, she approaches Lady Gaga and with the fingers the vomit is provoked on the singer, expelling a green liquid. Paradoxically, this sample contrasts with the position she held years ago on the subject, when Lady Gaga revealed in 2012 that she was a victim of bulimia and anorexia since she was 15 years old, a confession with which, as she stated at the time, she sought to inspire "Courage and generate some damn compassion".

Finally, both women complete the performance on a mechanical bull, in a game with lesbian overtones, while the 'Bad Romance' interpreter shouts at the same time: Fuck you, pop music! This is ARTPOP! Free yourselves!. It seems clear that Lady Gaga is willing to do anything on stage with the sole purpose of attracting attention if this improves the sales of your 'ARTPOP', something that still seems to have not achieved.
