The Vaccines announced the release of their third album for this year and the British are already showing us the video clip for their first single «Handsome«. The song was recorded in New York and produced by The Vaccines themselves, Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Tame Impala, MGMT) and Cole MGN (Ariel Pink, Beck).
“Music for me is entertainment and escapism, and we wanted to make this video to show an extension of that. We want to create a world where we can be aspirational and elevated versions of ourselves, ”commented frontman Justin Young. "We shot the video on a winter night in a warehouse in Brooklyn, just before Christmas." The band will embark on a small tour around the UK in March and April, visiting some towns and cities in the region for the first time in his career.
The Vaccines Formed in June 2010, the group includes Justin Young (vocals), Árni Hjörvar (bass), Freddie Cowan (guitar) and Pete Robertson (drums). In 2011 they released their debut 'What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?'. In 2012 they released their second work, 'Come of Age', through Columbia Records.
