Uriah Heep, one of the most legendary hard rock groups, will release their new album 'outsider'on June 9. It is the 24th job of the British and the first since 2011's 'Into The Wild'. “We are very proud of our history,” said founder and guitarist Mick Box, “but it is equally important to keep producing new material. This new album, 'Outsider', is very much a rock album in true Heep style. This shows that we still have the same passion and energy for our music.
The record, which was produced by Mike Paxman (Asia, Status Quo), also features bassist Dave Rimmer, who joined the band last summer after Trevor Bolder's death. Formed in London in 1969, they are considered to be one of the most popular groups of the early 70s. The band released several very commercially successful albums in the early 70s, such as' Demons & Wizards' (1972), 'The Magician's Birthday '(1972), or' Uriah Heep Live '(1973), but its audience declined in the 80s, to the point of essentially becoming a cult group, mainly in the United States and Europe.
Uriah Heep it was the first western band to play in Soviet Russia, under Gorbachev's policy, called glásnost. They have sold 40 million copies worldwide.
