Year after year, the Old Continent is adding more and more music festivals. And Spain seems to be at the top when it comes to international shows. This season, the Bilbao BBK Festival adds a new edition, consolidating itself as one of the most interesting musical events of the year.
The grid of artists, divided over three days, is more than auspicious. With Jeff Tweedy (Wilco's leader) heading the contest, a wide range of groups linked to alternative rock, metal and punk will parade through the Spanish stage: Slayer, Pearl Jam, Faith no more, Manic Street Preachers, Gogol Bordello, Rise Against, Anti-Flag and The Maccabees, to name just a few.
The meeting will be held on July 8, 9 and 10 in Kobetamendi, Bilbao; and the tickets, already on sale, start from 50 euros.
