Just as the Beatles forty years ago, the band led by the charismatic Bond, they acted unexpectedly on top of a building in the city of London.
The mini recital summoned a surprised audience that caused 5.000 people to crowd in the streets next to the building of the Broadcasting House of the public channel with the BBC, where days ago the entire group had participated in interviews and other events related to the promotion of the new album No Line On The Horizon.
While the police cordoned off the area, Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen Jr. and Adam Clayton played 4 songs: two new ones ("Get On Your Boots" and "Magnificent") and two classics ("Beautiful Day" and "Vertigo").
"It's a great honor. It is the first time that we sing these songs in public. Therefore, we hope not to screw them up », said Bond, excited by the crowd and the original idea.
