The specialized magazine Billboard assured in recent days that, according to various sources close to U2, the well-known Irish group would be postponing the release of the new album and the tour of the same, therefore it would not be released next summer but would go directly to 2015. So far the Irish group has been working with producer Danger Mouse on the production of the new album, but until mid-February the new Work continued without being completed, and as it transpired the Irish group decided to add to this work the collaboration of producers Ryan Tedder and Paul Epworth (Adele, Paul McCartney, Florence and The Machine and the new Coldplay LP).
Sources close to the new U2 project speculated on the matter: “It seems like it's taking them longer to finish a record the older they get, but the great thing about U2 is that the whole record is so much better than the sum of its parts. The magic that the band always seems to capture… they have yet to capture ”. Also the note from Billboard revealed that U2 had begun to schedule their new tour and that the tentative date of the new tour was intended to begin in September 2014, however, Live Nation, promoter of the Irish band's concerts, already delayed it for the summer of 2015.
