Fran healy, singer and leader of this Scottish quartet, hopes that his next acoustic tour by North America help to create the next album of the band ... at least in the lyrical part.
"Hopefully Andy and I can write all the songs on the bus. I am passionate about the idea of writing an album while traveling in North America. Well, I can almost write anywhere ... I often do it in a quiet hotel room, but I have also done it in the noisiest and most public places you can imagine ... it's like defecating: you can do it anywhere, but at sometimes it is better if you do it in a clean and peaceful bathroom"He commented.
Healy adds that the group's plans concerning the recording of their new work, which would follow in the wake left by the Ode To J. Smith (2008), point towards the city of Nashville early to mid next year...
"I just heard some really good comments about that place. We have recorded in Los Angeles, New York and elsewhere. Nashville is another kind of music city. We know a lot of people there and there are good studies. We have nothing decided, but we are seriously considering it"He explained.
