Oscar-winning screenwriter John Patrick Shanley (Moonstruck) adapted his play for film and directed The Doubt, starring Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams and Viola Davis. The film is produced by Scout Rudin and Mark Roybal, with Celia Costas serving as executive producer.
