Trailer for the Swedish vampire film Let the Rigth One In

Let the Right One In (something like Let the indicated one in) is one of those films that show that even in genres or themes that seem trite, you can reinvent yourself, be creative and provide a great deal of originality and freshness.

The last work of the Swede Tomas Alfredson focuses on the not easy life of Oskar, a 12-year-old boy, very introverted and shy, who one day meets Eli, a somewhat strange girl, recently moved to the Oskar building complex. Eli's arrival in the neighborhood coincides with a series of brutal murders, leaving the victim without a drop of blood.

The film is based on the homonymous novel by John Lingvist, and has toured multiple festivals (Toronto, Sitges, Tribeca, etc.), getting more than 40 awards. The extraordinary performances by Kåre Hedebrant and Lina Leandersson (Oskar and Eli respectively) were worth them, especially to Leanderson, several statuettes for his great work.

If you like vampire cinema and want to see something totally new, don't miss Let The Right One In.
