Last weekend the Spanish film was released "Black bread" And, despite doing it with many copies, it managed to sneak into the Top Ten of the highest grossing, above all, for its success in Catalonia.
This film directed by Agustí Villaronga is the film adaptation of the novel by Emili Teixidor that tells us a story in the harsh postwar rural years in Catalonia, where Andreu (Francesc Colomer), a boy who belongs to the losing side, one day he finds the corpses of a man and his son in the forest. The authorities want to carry the dead man to his father but he, to help him, tries to find out who killed them. In this journey, Andreu awakens a moral conscience in the face of an adult world fed by lies. To survive, he betrays his own roots and ends up discovering the monster that inhabits him.
