Next February 6, the maximum reference of reggae music, Bob Marley, would turn 70 years old, and to celebrate this date this year will be published various publications dedicated to the mythical Jamaican musician, and in particular a personal archive containing unreleased songs, audios and unreleased videos will be launched. The first release will begin with the edition of Bob Marley & The Wailers: Easy Skanking In Boston '78, an unpublished material that includes the concert that Marley offered on June 8, 1978 at the Music Hall in Boston.
Easy Skanking In Boston '78 It will contain images taken by a fan whom he himself, Marley, authorized to stand in the front row with his camera. It will be available on CD, DVD + CD, Blu-Ray + CD and digital format, and will be released on February 17. The first edition of the Blu-Ray and DVD will have a digipack format (limited edition) with a 32-page booklet.
This recital was performed as part of the promotional tour for the album Kaya (1978). The audio of the concert is complete, but not the video, since it was recorded with a single camera. These spaces will be edited with animation material created and directed by S77 and Matt Reed, a creative duo who worked on projects alongside Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Cee Lo Green.
