On October 28, the American publisher Simon & Schuster will publish a new book that will contain all the lyrics of the songs written by Bob Dylan. This book will be released under the name of 'Bob Dylan: The Lyrics: Since 1962', as a limited edition of only 3.000 copies for the United States and 500 for the United Kingdom, on sale at a price of $ 200 per copy. The most fans can choose to buy one of 50 exclusive copies specially signed by the legendary singer for the modest price of $ 5.000 per book. The copy is considerably large, consists of 960 pages and weighs approximately six kilos.
This edition has been produced by the biographer Christopher rick, author of the book "Dylan's Visions of Sin" (2003), in collaboration with Lisa and Julie Nemrow, who have been in charge of its design. According to the publisher's press release, one of the differences between this book and the one published in 2004 is its comprehensive nature. It was detailed that Rick has had access to Dylan's manuscripts and notebooks to prepare a critical edition in which the different variants of the letters are included. The book also reproduces photographs of all the album covers.
