An unknown number of guitars with a “high sentimental value”Belonging to the group Iggy Pop & The Stooges, were stolen moments after they made their respective presentation at the Montreal Festival last week.

The manager of the band, Eric Fisher, mentioned that among these stolen instruments was the legendary Gibson with which the bassist Mike watt debuted early 80's.
The truck carrying all the group's equipment was attacked outside the hotel where they were staying.
"We are all blown away”, He confessed.
