Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining" will have a prequel

Warner Bros is preparing a prequel to Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece «The Shining»Which will be named«The Overlook Hotel«.

Glenn mazzaraCreative Director "The Walking Dead" will most likely write the script for this new film.

Mazzara is in negotiations to enter the project of this film, once it has been announced that he is leaving his work in «The Walking Dead«.

Stephen King, the author of the original novel who was not very happy with Kubrick's adaptation of it, has recently completed the sequel called "Dr. Sleep ", a novel that narrates the experiences of a Danny, a child in" The Shining, now an adult.

«The Shining»Is considered one of the summits of the genre and its prequel is already generating expectations that are very difficult to fulfill.
