The current tour of the 'Queen of pop’, Sticky and sweet, is on track to become the solo artist-led tour most successful in sales of all time.
According to the reports issued by the tour promoters, Live Nation, when it ends at the end of December in Brazil, will have generated the not inconsiderable amount of $282 million, thereby beating its old mark - imposed on the 2006- $194 million.
It was further revealed that Madonna sold nothing less than 550000 tickets for 28 presentations he offered in United States, generating $92 million in that region alone.
So far, the Sticky & sweet leads $208 million from ticket sales.
