Killing Joke's new album

Inspired by predictions about the end of the world, the classic English metal band Killing joke will release on April 02 his fifteenth studio album entitled MMX II, which will be available in CD, digital and vinyl formats through Spinefarm Records / Universal.

“In many different calendars it is the great discovery, the union of heaven and earth. It is a significant date. A great planetary alignment will occur and for those days we will be playing at the A Party At The End Of The Earth rock festival in New Zealand. Everything is speeding up. It is not just our mind. We are heading towards the end and no one really knows what is going to happen, ”said the singer-songwriter. Jaz coleman on the title chosen for the disc.

Together with Geordie Walker (guitar), Paul Ferguson (drums) and Martin Glover (bass), they advanced the launch of the production with their first single "Rapture", which they defined as "the way we perceive a Killing Joke concert, as the spiritual experience of entering a state of grace where music is the mantra". The video for "In Cythera" has also been released, another of the songs that the new album will include.

Formed in the late 70s, the group has constantly changed lineup and even Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) recorded drums for their 2003 self-titled album, but in 2008 they reunited their classic lineup by recording Absolute Disent (2010) to continue with this new production with which they will tour the UK from 04 April.
